Consulting Process

When confronted with important challenges related to Accelerating Suceess—challenges involving Leadership, Teamwork, and Strategy, people often wonder how the consulting process works.

This process has several steps, all geared toward accelerating your success and the achievement of your vision.

The first step: Getting together to discuss the your situation. During this meeting, I ask many questions, but I also do a lot of listening to your view of the situation. This no-cost, no-obligation meeting usually lasts around 60 to 90 minutes, although vary, depending on your situation. This meeting may also include a brief tour of your company's operation, to give me a better feel for what is happening. During this meeting, I’ll describe how I would approach the situation to improve it significantly.

At the end of the meeting, we decide whether we’re comfortable with each other. In particular, you also need to decide whether the my approach is appropriate for the situation.

If we agree to proceed, we move to the second step, where I provide a proposal that includes:

• • A summary of your situation
  • A detailed description of the my approach to improving the situation
  • The specific actions I’ll take
  • The measurable outcomes, and the value that will result
  • Information about your investment, the timing of the project

The third step of the process involves us working together to deliver what’s described in the proposal.

The fourth step involves any follow-up needed to ensure that the your situation has improved.
