Independent Area Business Services Group Elects President,

Sets Goal to Promote Economic Development and Community Support

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (June 18, 2010)—Jersey Business Leaders (JBL), an independent organization of business owners who provide products, services, leadership, and expertise to Delaware Valley businesses, announced today the election of Terry Wall, owner, TG Wall Management Consulting, Washington Township, NJ, and JBL member, to the position of President in the organization.

As president, Wall will focus efforts on coordinating the organization’s activities to promote economic development, specifically by assisting the growth and expansion of new and existing businesses.

“A main goal of the organization is to promote economic growth in the Delaware Valley,” said Wall.  “Our members are experienced business owners and experts and leaders in their respective fields, and as such, JBL offers an independent, single source of business services excellence.  Businesses who use JBL enjoy the access to personalized expertise and advice and informal, streamlined services.”

Wall comes to the position with more than 17 years of experience in the Office of Federal Investigations and 13 years as the president of his own management consulting business. Wall has a B.A. in Psychology from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, and an MBA from Drexel University, Philadelphia.

“Throughout my career, including 11 years in management and more recently as a management consultant, I have consulted on issues that increase profitability and productivity for organizations,” says Wall.  “As president of JBL, I’ll use my experience to help members, and businesses who come to JBL for products and services. I also intend to help member companies by providing guidance on tactics to improve services and products provided to the community.”

According to Wall, he also will spend time organizing public events in the community where business owners can meet new people, discuss current business issues and challenges, and socialize.

Wall takes office as Tom Wittman, owner, Wittman Construction, Mt. Laurel, NJ, finished his one-year term on May 31.   Under Wittman’s direction, the organization was recognized for its work with a Camden City Proclamation presented to members by Camden City Mayor Gwendolynn Faison.  Wittman also initiated The JBL Lunch Forum during his tenure, a monthly gathering of area leaders held at a local restaurant, designed to provide networking opportunities and relevant information from guest speakers to today’s business owners.

“Part of the president’s role is to promote the organization’s donation of time, money, products, and services to charitable organizations in the community,” says outgoing JBL President Wittman.  “JBL has been involved in community outreach programs in the past, including a 5K run/walk to raise money for Genesis Counseling Center for young people.  As an organization, we are committed to supporting more community programs in the next year and beyond.”

Established in 2008 by Gregory Gutos, owner of USAPhone.com, a Cherry Hill-based communications company, JBL had five charter members at inception and today boasts 17.

JBL members include owners of the following businesses: AJM Insurance, Ashley MacKenzie, B Two Design, Cabot Collection Systems, Cross Keys Coach, Design East Inc., Evesham Lock & Safe Co. Inc., Family Wealth Management, Front End Graphics, Liberty State Financial, Mayflower Transit, South Jersey Magazine, TG Wall Management Consulting, TMC Business Solutions, Tri-R Furniture, USAPhone.com, Wittman Construction.
